Psalms 118: 8-9 "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes." ESV
Paul says " 1 Thessalonians 5: 20-21 "Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good." ESV Don't just take someone's word on what the bible says but go and read God's word and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to you. If it lines up with what God says then take it in but if not then throw it away. God's word is truth, not mans.
