Psalm 22: 1-5 "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer, and by night, but I find no rest. Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises[a] of Israel. In you our fathers trusted; they trusted, and you delivered them. To you they cried and were rescued; in you they trusted and were not put to shame." ESV
Notice David crying out (in my words) where are you God? But then remembering how God had been with the children of Israel in the past. How God had delivered them over and over. How about you? Maybe your going through a really tough time right now and it seems God is far away. Stop, think back to when God worked in your life. How He had revealed Himself to you and brought you salvation. Then know this, He's still right there with you, He has given you the Holy Spirit to provide just than and be encouraged in the days ahead.
