Psalm 79: 8-9 "Do not remember against us our former iniquities; let your compassion come speedily to meet us, for we are brought very low. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and atone for our sins, for your name's sake!" ESV
"for the glory of your name" and "for your names sake". Not because we deserve this, not because you owe it to us, not because we'll do something for it but for the glory of your name and your names sake. God owes us nothing, it's we who owe Him everything,
