First Baptist Church of Lorida, Florida

Holy Week was April 2-9, 2023. The theme was On the Way to the Cross. Each night the Wacasters prepared us for worship with their energetic and passionate music and witness. On Sunday Wayne Briant, Regional Catalyst, gave a powerful message on the way to the cross that included how you can know you are saved. Monday night Dr. Robert Roberts' message was A Living Sacrifice. We should be a living sacrifice for God. Pastor Marcus Marshall gave another inspiring message about Jesus and his life events in Jerusalem and His looking toward the cross and its cost. Then Pastor Derek Lambert's message was about Christ preparing for His earthly exodus and how we would want to share the exciting news about salvation. Thursday was our In Remembrance of Me service where Pastor Wayne shared that Jesus would not partake of the Passover meal until the Kingdom of God comes. On Saturday an Easter egg hunt for the children was held. Easter Sunday a cantata was sung and Pastor Wayne gave another inspiring message.
